Kevin Courtois is Executive Director of Congressional and Public Affairs at the U.S. Chamber’s Great Lakes Regional Office. To achieve the U.S. Chamber’s public policy goals, Kevin cultivates and maintains legislative, political, media and grasstops resources throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Kevin leads the U.S. Chamber’s efforts to strengthen its relationships with Members of Congress through member businesses, associations, and local and state chambers of commerce across the region.

Kevin Shimp is a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio, and currently serves as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce’s General Counsel and Director of Labor & Legal Affairs. In this role, Kevin works with legislators, Ohio Chamber members, and government officials to advance the Ohio Chamber’s pro-business agenda. He specializes in workers compensation, civil justice reforms, and employment law issues.

Prior to the Ohio Chamber, he worked in the Ohio Senate as a Senior Legislative Aide and at the Ohio Republican Senate Campaign Committee as the Deputy Political Director.
